ABOUT VALLEY BALLET

The Valley Ballet is located in the Canton Commons at 140 Albany Turnpike (RT 44) Canton, CT, behind Joe Pizza.  The Valley Ballet moved from their original home at 51 Bridge Street, in Collinsville, in 2003. Our new dance facility consists of a large sunny studio, reception area, student lounge, and changing room.  The studio is equipped with sprung dance floors, ballet Barres, full length mirrors, and a state of the art sound system.

Visitors:
Are invited to observe classes during visitation week. Visitors are discouraged during regular classroom hours as space is limited and children are easily distracted by parents and siblings. We now offer a lounge area for family and visitors to wait and relax while classes are in session.

No Street Shoes:
In order to maintain a quality facility, we ask that no street shoes be worn on the studio floors. Dancers, parents and visitors are asked to please remove shoes and place them on the shoe rack.

Parking:
Parking is on the side of the building near the old entrance. Dancers my enter through the main entrance or through rear door with direct access to dressing area. To alleviate congestion, please pick-up and drop-off children without entering studio (with the exception of pre-ballet and elementary students).

Performances:
Children 6 and up will have the opportunity to participate in various performance opportunities. Younger children will have in-class presentations.

Cancellations:
All cancellations will be send  e-mail one hour before class.

Dancewear:
Proper dancewear is required for each class and may be ordered through the Valley Ballet.
